DVR is loacted in the heart of Rotterdam-Europoort. We were founded more than 25 years ago. With our team of specialists and our modern, high-end warehousing facilities, we are set to provide comprehensive warehousing services -for general cargo and for dangerous goods.  

Additionally, we offer goods distribution drawing on our own truck fleet. As member of the Karl Gross group of companies, we have an excellent network in the field of international freight forwarding and logistics which allows us to organize full-service packages including customs handling matters.

‘I breathe logistics!’

Work at DVR for 7 years. Logistics is really my passion: I "breathe" logistics. In my position as office manager I am always working to ensure the high service to our customers. We are a specific service-oriented company. And that is hard work, if necessary also on weekends or holidays. Our customers appreciate that and that's what we do it for. Many of our customers have been with us for years. Some even for more than 20 years. They know that we go through the fire for them and always go the extra mile. And that is regularly necessary in our profession. In addition to my daily work as an office manager, I am also a safety advisor. I advise on all aspects of safety, such as ADR and CMR. In addition, I check all customs formalities and documents. In short, together with my team I make sure that everything is in order for our customers in detail.

‘In our security measures we go much further than average’

After my logistics studies with a specialty in hazardous materials, I started working at DVR. I have been working here for over 20 years with great pleasure. We are a state-of-the-art high-tech warehouse not only in storage but also in terms of security measures. For example, we have the most modern fire extinguishing system. When the fire alarm is activated in 1 of our 6 warehouses, the room fills up very quickly with CO2. This will extinguish any starting fire in less than 2 minutes. Fire is therefore virtually impossible and there is no risk of extinguishing damage to the stored goods. In addition, I am involved with the quality systems. We also want to take the lead in this. For example, we work together with the government to improve the national safety standard in the field of the storage of aerolols and lithium batteries. Furthermore, we are actually continuously refining our internal quality systems even further. The highest quality is part of our position as warehouse 2.0!
